Ok So I have a 1993 sr hatch.....

The thing is only running on 3 cylinders wtf?....Well was running as it will not run , and is currently a crank no start condition... Occasionally I will notice a bump in compression and it will run on three cylinders, idle at 2,200 rpms and sound like a wrx lol...

Cylinder number 4 towards the bulkhead has zero ignition pulse....I tested the other three cylinders and have spark...
I resistance tested all four of the coils and they are all within .5 ohms of each other....
I also went as far as swapping a known good coil, and still nothing....

I need to know if the coils is ground controlld thru the ecu as I predict.....

Wondering at the connector with koeo what I should have for readings with my dmm...

I was told from the previous owner that it needs a cam angle sensor ....

Any help will Be great thanx Andrew.....

But found it strange to find that cyl 4 has 0 ign pulse, whereas the three cylinders do...

Now I also have a total of three ecus, which two are labeled "62", and the third reads "63"...IIrc 63 is for an auto sr s14 blacktop.... I currently believe to have a blacktop s14 sr .....

What are the specs for the coils, cas, and voltage at the coil connectors?......

Any Check Engine Light codes?

Replaced the Crank Angle Sensor and see what happens.

I had the same problem (only on cyl 3) i had a broken wire to the ignitor. i'd check your wiring and then try a known good ignitor as it is the most likely issue. A CAS would be much more likely to cause a timing issue to all 4 cyls, but it wouldnt hurt to swap one with a friend to see.

CAS might be causing your no start problem
check the wiring and how are your packs n plugs? If its only one cyl id imagen its either wiring/ground, the pack/plug, or something with the ecu
