Sr20vet!?

has anyone heard of this SR20VET that i just recently heard about... if so, what are the chances of getting it on my 240.... is it a sr20det with mods, or a different motor... I heard its found on some SUV X-rail GT... let me know...

New SR20VET on X-Trail GT model is world's firstturbocharged engine with variable valve lift and timing (VVL) system. (2001)

Like a VTEC w/ Turbo, you can be the first to score one and make it work on your 240.

I'm pretty sure it's JDM only and you'd have to find a less than 3 yr old wreck that's been totaled in Japan. Think supply and DEMAND.

There is probably less than about 1000 of those out their total (I read less then about 300 sold per year). Its transverse, so no, it wont fit in your 240. Its a cool motor, actually has more than 280hp, just like the "280"hp RB26DETT.
