i bought a 95 G20 with a blown motor and im curious about swapping a vvl but where can i locate parts like a header, intake and bushings i'm assuming de parts are not the same as ve. Thank you for any advice im a recovering honda driver lookin for some low end torque in a na car.

As far as I know, I'm pretty sure the parts are a direct bolt on. Say you bought DE parts, I'm pretty sure everything bolts right up to the VE. I could be wrong but you are talking about the SR20 correct?

DE header, intake, and mounts will all fit.

The SR doesn't have a ton of low end torque to begin with, but it'll definitely have more guts down there than most Honda engines.

cool thanks you dont happen to know where i can find those three particular items i've heard a low port cai will work as for the other two i'm at a loss?

Header and mounts are universal. Try Hotshot, OBX, or SS Autochrome for the header. (What? Quality from SSAC? Believe it, though it's their only product I'd buy.) Energy Suspension makes polyurethane mounts, NISMO has high-durometer rubber ones.

One thing I forgot, using a DE header on a VE requires that you grind out the header's ports a bit, otherwise you'll actually restrict the opening. After that the header will have more room.
