Nissan SR20VE NEO VVL 2000cc Tiptronic Transmission Sentra, Bluebird, WingSong, Altima, Infiniti G20, SE-R

This transmission came from a JDM 1997 or 1998 Nissan Wingsong, estimated 30,000 miles. It's the tiptronic transmission with the manual adjusting feature. It had the SR20VE, NEO, variable valve lift & timing VVL engine. Transmission comes with the flywheel, tourque converter, top transmission mount, shift selector and four sensors. Two transmissions are available. This transmission may work in you Infiniti G20, Altima, bluebird, Sentra, SE-R. Transmission is very clean. Please visit my ebay store for more great deal. Star JDM (801) 309-3911.

Would it work with a 2000 SE engine?

Even worth the effort?

I did search and couldn't find an answer.

It would probably bolt right up. However, I'd think that your ECU would probably be very confused even if your car is currently AT, your wiring harness may not have the proper connectors, etc.

I don't see any benefit over a manual transmission since you can still probably shift more quickly and/or smoothly than the semi-manual.

Thanks, and that is what I was afraid of. I thought the tiptronic would be nice to have, but I can live without it.

I was also under the impression the ECU might ignore the manual shifting of the auto, or that it was bad for it. Is that not the case for the Sentra? Was I misinformed?

It probably would ignore the manual shifting, but the transmission itself probably uses different signals, has different ratios, etc. I doubt it'd plug into your wiring harness.
