SR20VE swap ques

Are the parts you need for a VE swap the same as a DE swap? This is for a 1.8 B15.

Yes. However, one thing I hadn't thought of for the overall swap is that your 1.8 throttle is electronic, while SR's use a cable throttle. The VE (and any JDM SR) also lacks some of the emissions equipment that the US cars have to have.

Kool, I figured I would need to get it set for us emissions. For the throttle cable could i just grab a cable set up from an earlyer model and swap it out.

Yes.

My point was that this is going to be a pain. If you had a 2.0 Sentra to begin with it might be different, but I don't really see why you wouldn't just opt to trade the car in for something with better performance out of the box.

Yea im beggining to notice how much of a pain its gonna be and how much its gonna cost. Im thinking about just picling up a better DD for now and picking up a 2.0 later down the road as a project.
