hello guys, i just bought a sr20 blacktop for 1.5k from a guy near were i live, and i been doing my home work here .. and had a question about the turbo. now i know i don't need to hook up the turbo to the coolent lines in the back to the heater core. but do i still need a oil catch can?

\And i need to take out my my subs in the truck to make the battery fit in the hatch

The guy say'ed all the wiren has been done, because it was in his friends 240sx and had to take it out. cause he drifted into a poll, but the motor looks great yet a lil dirty.. and it need a oil pan gasket. i been tryen to find one but no luck yet. any one know were i can get one? or do i just use that blue gasket stuff.

And it dont have non of the intake tuben or maf any idea's should i use my old maf from my ka24e singlecam motor, or get a maf from a sr20 motor?sr20 is going in my 1989 HB 240sx.

Why wouldn't you use the coolant lines? They're there, and easy as hell to hook up.

My buddy did a test on his old Dodge Omni GLHS, and without the coolant line hooked up to the CHRA, the compressor air temperature went up 20* Celsius. That's pretty significant.

I am pretty sure that you are supposed to use the liquid gasket stuff. I know that you do on a KA, but not sure about the SR. I don't see why it would be different.

I am guessing SR20 MAF would be the best choice. I have a bunch of N60 MAFS lying around that are good for up to 320 hp, but I don't know the ease of use and compatibility with the SR engine.

the pigtails are different, you'll have to rewire them

Yes you use Liquid Gasket but I recommend High temp Red or Black silicone. Black is supposed to be more oil resistant but they both work great.

MAF would be a single slammer KA24E as stated above

Hook up the lines also dont be lazy
