your going to able to find a complete motor a lot easier than finding a parted out sr20det...

Try http://www.ebay.com and go to the Ebay Motors and type in SR20DET in the search field and you may get lucky.. i have seen a few on there in the past... there was one on there a few months ago that went for like $500 just bare block and head (all internals were still intact);)

i don't like buying stuff from ebay...its nothing against the people but you don't know what your getting until its at your door...i want to build an sr...like a race engine...full blown race...i've got the means to do it i just don't know where to find a block and head...and i really don't wanna go to ebay.

Have you tried Heavy Throttle? Their prices for a shortblock, may be a little higher than a private seller, but they will probably be your best bet.

That is, if they have incomplete motor sets still.
