sr20det wont start plz helppp!!!

I just baught the car today and drove it for about 3 hours straight. I got home and started cleaning it out and everything. Like an hour later i decided to take it out and i started the car and it wouldnt go past 3000rpm when i reved it. when i tried to go it just stalled and shut off. and when i tried to start it again it wouldnt start up. when i turn the key to start it there is a wierd humming noise. Please help. I have no clue whats wrong

MAF, but thats doesn't usually inhibit a car to start. Check the basics. Spark. Fuses. Could be anything. Don't just run to NICO if something breaks, try to do something man! Check things and write down the things you checked then start ruling out things.

sounds like the pump is old thats the buzzing sounds where did you get it and how many KM and was there any gas in the tank

I picked it up from a guy down by tampa. Theres 138,000 on the car and he said theres around 20,000 on the motor. I had a couple people tell me it might be the fuel injectors.

Not reving past 3,000 RPM 99.9% of the time is MAF. Make sure the clip is on good, making a good connection. Every once in awhile mine gets barely disconnected and acts up.

its running now. there was a peice of tape between the maf and the connector thing. after i moved that it started right up.
