sr20det wont CRANK!!!

i have a s13 blacktop sr20det for a while... sumtyms it clicks once but doesnt crank at all and its getting worse. the symptom started earlier dis month and im guessing its my starter. im plannin on getting the starter right now but i need ur opinion coz its too late to get my starter tested. i took the starter off and cleaned the contacts but it made it worse.

Have you checked your battery terminal connections and starter ground?

yeah the connections are clean... i relocated my battery and it was all good... my car ran fine after my swap... the battery grounds are okay and i have a new battery.. i just dont wanna spend 99 bucks on a starter dat i dont need if mine is stil ok... thanks!

why is it too late to get it tested?
