cool when I get home from work I will check the clips and battery. I just replaced the battery with an Optima Yellowtop a month ago, wonder if its a dud.Sil80315 wrote:low battery? no sensors or ecu's have control over power to the starter it would still crank.. usually if the battery is really low it wont turn over..check your remote wire that clips to the starter..those are known to come off.
yeah just check the connections to the starter..im pretty sure the remote wire fell off.notslow wrote:cool when I get home from work I will check the clips and battery. I just replaced the battery with an Optima Yellowtop a month ago, wonder if its a dud.
thanks!
also get a voltmeter and check the battery for voltage when it starts should maintain 14.XX volts running if not then you could have a bad altenator......notslow wrote:So I checked the connectors last night they were good. Used the girlfriend's battery to jump mine and it started. Ran it for 20 mins came back 2 hours later and it wouldn't start. My battery is in the trunk so I shifted the ground cable a bit and it started like a charm. Same thing happened this morning, had to shift the ground cable around for it to start. Once I got back home I tightened both cables to the terminal and tomorrow on my day off I am going to clean up the bolt the cable is grounded to and make sure there isn't crap there.
