Car: KE70 with sr20det swap

Post

Hi all

I guess the intro first .My name is Sergio and i drive a KE70 With a SR20DET swap .
I live in south africa so JDM parts are pretty hard to come by .

My plan is to have my car as a daily drive ,so more function than looks i guess.

I do have an issue tho ,and everyone's input would be awesome .

My SR has a s14 dizzy,so no coil packs here or CAS.

When i got my car back from the tuners the ECU had a start up map installed on it( after market one they sell here in SA its called DICTATOR )

and the car turned over and was running ok .For some reason the dizzy had to come out and ever since the car is unable to start.

Dizzy is abit different to the CAS so i am stumped as to how the timing gets set on it .

I have done the normal manual timing on the engine and that's fine ,just the dizzy i am having trouble with..

This is how it looks

Distributor alignment should be just like the CAS on a DET, line up the dot with the line and insert it.
You will still need a timing light to set base timing at 15 degrees.
