Hi i am getting a SR and wanted to know if the Q45 MAF and throttle body will work with it? or if there is even a point in using them?

Thanks.

The Q45 MAF maxes out around 450HP, so a Z32 MAF is gonna be better than the Q MAF.. Q45 TB is OK as long as you're putting down some decent numbers.

If you're not maxing out your current MAF/TB then there's really no point in changing.

I'm trying to get about 300 when I am done and complete. I know it's easy to get out of a sr but right now I have my breadbox in till the motor gets here. Maybe down the road I might look into maybe 400 but that takes money as you know lol. Thanks It's probably a stupid question but I needed to ask. Will it restrict my power if I don't have high power yet if I use them?

You can actualy make the TB too big for the engine. What will happen is that you'll be basically at WOT before the pedal is all the way down. Remember an engine is just an air pump, so it can only pump so much air at one time.

Q45 throttle bodies are pointless. I've yet to see one dyno where the q45 tb has proven better than the 2.75” stock tb. 700 hp can easily be had through the stock tb. As far as the maf, only upgrade if you are upgrading to a turbo that would max out you're stock maf. Otherwise stock maf is fine.
