SR20DET wiring

Hi all,

I'm trying to locate the ignitor on the SR20DET ECCS wiring diagram, and can't seem to find anything called ignitior (power transistor unit maybe?) I'm using the diagram from http://sr20det.nismo.org/srtech.htm Also, where is the ignitor be located physically in the engine bay on the Japanese car?

I might be insane, but I'm trying to splice a cut SR harness into a KA24E harness. Figuring out where/how the ignotor is wired is one things. Getting 64 wires in teh right place for the ECU plug is another!

Has anyone ever done this?

the ignitor is mounted on my passenger side strut tower (or whatever you would call it), on the left side of the picture...

Will Heveythrottle really do this, splice two harnesses? Any idea how much they charge?

You send them both harnesses, and it's 100 bucks.

i can't find where the ignitor is supposed to go for some reason thought i had the right plugs for it but they plugged into something else next to the rear of the engine so if any body has pics of the engine bay where that's located that would be great help for me, thanks

There was a picture posted earlier in this thread. Apparently it's located on the strut tower (passanger side) behind teh coolant resevior (?) as close as I can tell by the picture.
