Okay so I have a SR20DET wire harness and a KA single cam wire harness sitting here.I was looking at this DIYhttp://www.frsport.com/sr20det....html

But I'm not sure what I have to do because my sr harness is cut here..

I was planning on sending it out to get done, but for people who have done it themselves let me know if it was hard and what I have to do about the cut wire.

Try taking some better pics of where it's cut. I can't see shyt from shinola in those pics. If you can solder a wire and put some heat shrink on it then do it yourself.Your just swapping 2 or 3 plugs and extending your 02 sensor....

Haha okay I'll take some better pics tomorrow and yeah that's why I asked because it doesn't seem to difficult so I'de rather do it myself then spend 150$.

Another thing I don't understand is the dash connector. The wires from both connectors are colormatched and seem to control the same thing, but they arn't plugged into the same pin hole on the connector. So not sure how to go about that? Just connect color to color?

It is pretty self explanitory once you open up the sheathing, pretty much all the wires are colored differently and if not they are different sized

Yeah, but I don't know where the 2 cut ends go? Do they go to eachother possibly?Also.. Another thing I don't understand is the dash connector. most likely they cut it there to get the engine out of the car faster. They look like they would be a match, but the only real way to tell is to try or send it out and see what they say.

Nope def not a match.About 3 - 4 of the wires match up with the alentator and the postive battery cable. It's funny cause I didn't even get the positive battery cable from the place, it came along with my shell I bought

But idk what to do with those wires cause they come off the altenator connect with the wires in that harness and then loop down and around and are cut again as u can see in the pic

I would avoid possible future headaches and buy a new harness.

Your right they won't work those second pics were better. The harness on your motor is the lowewr harness for your starter altenator and transmission, where it is cut would go to your passenger fuse box, you will need a lower harness of of a ka24e and a new jdm engine harness for your engine. jdm_planet sells them for about 250 they are nice I got one last year

Why would I need a lower (trans, starter, alt) harness from a ka if I have the sr one on the motor already? ..Unless because mine is cut, but **** because the ka motor harness I have is automatic, but I'm probably picking up a new shell this weekend that is manual and non hacked up because it is still in the car with engineAnd is this the passanger fuse box harness you were talking about?

With that many cut wires in one spot, you're going to have a huge bulge in the harness after solder all of them. Get a new harness.
