ok...My sr20det came with everything from the front clip but all taken out of the clip. Allthough it did come with a auto transmission bolted to it I got all of that worked out. Now the harness... The guy sent every wireing harness that was in the fron of the car. I got the one that goes to the engine/ecu all ran through my car but after hooking the big blue ecu plug to the ecu I noticed that the Smaller plug that runs off the side of the blue plug dosen't fit the plug that is in my car. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Please let me know if you can help. Thanks

Dont worry about actually plugging it into anything. The wires that come off of it are the ones that connect to the dash wiring harness.

Correct me if im wrong...

Or it may be an auto transmission thing.

I hope you know you're suppose to rewire your sr harness! The dash plug is the one you're talking about. You're suppose to cut the sr plug off and connect the ka dash plug in place of it. Same goes for your brown and gray plugs by the battery as well.

I was wondering if instead of just cutting and soldering the plugs off the KA harness to the SR one if you could use a pin removal tool and just arrange the SR wires in the KA plugs. i know it'd be more time consuming, but can it be done that way.

Thanks,-Jon-

I'm down to the last couple of wires, all of them matched up perfectly except for a couple (I haven't soldered those yet), and also on the new harness there is an extra orange/black wire that I don't know what to do with. On the plug that i'm putting on i have a leftover G+reen/Yellow wire and a red wire. On the Harness I have a leftover Red/white wire, A Blue/White wire and A Orange/Black wire. does anybody know where these hook up or is there a websitre or something? Thanks.

and

http://www.srswap.com/html/info/inst_wiring.htm

May shed some light, the orange and black could be the 102 - EAI control solenoid output (egr valve control ?) - Orange Black OR 111 - Turbo boost pressure control solenoid (over boost cut ?) - Orange Black

Blue white could be 45 - Ambient air tamp sensor input - Blue White

and Red white, well there are about 4 red and white wires in the harness, 3 of them go to coilpacks so you can count those out. Could be 105 - Fuel pressure control module - Red White.

The green yellow on the KA should have a green yellow matched to it on the SR harness: Yellow / Green stripe - Speedometer signal on both.

Red KA harness wire= no idea

so is what you said about not having to worry about plugging that plug in true or were you mistaken?

The white plug (pictured) is supposed to connect into an SR dash harness. But since the KA dash harness doesnt have this connector, or is wired incorrectly to recieve the SR plug as a direct bolt it, you must connect the wires from the KA and SR on your own. The white plug hanging off the ECU serves no purpose for engine swaps.
