Ummm, just about anything.

I think a better question would be, "what WON'T it fit in?"

I know there is a kit that lets you put one into a Mazda miata.

i would do 13b-t before SR in Miata since i get them for a good price

LOL just like the LS1

but in all honesty, most FR setup are just alike just require slight mount mod, driveshaft, lil banging on tunnel etc.

i have seen video's of sr's in E30 Bmws

I think the s12 200sx is the only other car it fits in with no real modifications.. oh most of the older nissan pick up trucks too

aside from that, the engine is relatively compact and could be made to work in just about any FR layout.

The main concern on picking a good chassis for the rwd SR20 would be the oil sump layout, if the car originaly had a rear sump it would be a lot more work rather than if the car originally had a front sump motor

as a rule of thumb, any engine can be put into any vehicle. it just depends on how much work/money you want to put into it.

best example of that idea is back in the 70's, their were vw bus's that had 350's and some other small block/ big blocks welded inside of them that ended up being scary sleepers.

yeah, with that mutch power you can even afford to leave the origional engine in for sound effects at the stop light.

there is an older guy in MD that runs low 13's/high 12's in a vw bug. not sure what engine but it hauls ***.

sr20 in a miata is not a kit. zfever in tampa did the swap took a while and it was all custom. it was never a kit. they may eventually get it out as a kit but with the wiring envolved.... it'll take a while.

Had a buddy in high school with a FWD Toronado motor (455 ci) in the rear of a Fiero.

RE-TAR-DED.

His Dad was one of the first guys to drop a 5.0 'stang engine in a Miata, sold off the plans and it soon became the "Monster Miata" conversion.

His sis drove a big-block VW Bug.
