SR20DET weird noise after 5K RPM

Yet another thread, but mine is different. (slightly lol)

Basically when I hit about 4.5-5K and up my car makes a weird noise that sounds like rocks hitting metal (dont know how to describe it better, ever heard of on bad roads small rocks and crap get into your fenders and make a ticking sound? thats what i sounds like) and the noise is only after 4.5K rpm, when I drive around below 4k its fine, I read up and it might be bolts loose on the turbo manifold/elbow??? Thats the only solution I could find, I checked all of my exhaust (catback) and stuff and its fine no rattling or nothing...

If anybody could help I would appreciate it, I never took it above 6K due to the noise, im afraid something is going to blow up!

yea check for loose bolt. mine was doing that two weeks ago and it was my manifold and turbo loose. i put in new gasket and screw in the bolt and thats it. fix
