what are the differances besides the hp/tq

are they both rwd, does one have more aftermarket support than the other? any comments you have really will be of great help.

The GTIR SR20DET is a transverse mounted AWD engine. The S chassis motor is RWD of course. You cannot use the transverse motor in a RWD application. You could use it in a FWD setup like a sentra/200sx/g20 chassis, but there are no AWD setups that just "bolt in" (in the states).

gtir have individual throttle bodies and stiffer rods..plus a t28 that has a bigger exhaust housing than of the s14-s15 t28's.(quite a nice turbo upgrade for 180's sr20's)
