how much do you guys think it will cost to fix the knock? i got the car in a trade, i traded my 300z for it. lol

valve knock? i wouldnt trade a z32 for a modded 240 . if its valve related, heads gotta come off and if you are not a mechanic be prepared to spend some coin.

my z32 had alternator problem and it doesnt really pull anymore since it has 205000 miles..and the registration expired in july 08..i didnt want to pay the fees..lol..some friends says it might cost about $300...is that about right?

300$ for valve work? Mabey if u know the mechanic and / or are lucky enought to find a cheap good place.

i know the places arround here charge 45+ just to look at the car then its 45$+ and hour + what ever parts are needed.

Are you sure its valve and not lifters?
