Do sr20s use differnt voltage battry or somthing? i got my motor swaped at a shop, and the battery die recently. i tried to jump start it wont work, autozone tested and said it was bad. I cant find battery small as the one i have right now. it is a westco sealed battry. with no model number on it. so.. what battery can i replace it with?

Check your engine harness.

It sounds like you have a parasitic electrical problem.

They use the same battery.

Is your car getting any power at all?

What happens when you try to start it? Do you hear a click?

how would that have anything to do with your swap?

you can use a miata battery that is smaller, or an racing battery so your logic is sorta flawed

just get a replacement for the stock car, unless you have IC piping to deal w, then get something smaller

probably the same one you have now... i dont understand how it can get any simpler... theres gotta be a brand/type on it

i said if its smaller it could be a miata battery.

if this is giving you problems id hate to see when something serious goes wrong

i recently ordered a aluminum hold down for my pc680 and im going to mount it on the pass side front frame rail so i dont have the voltage loss of runnign 10 ft or cable, but yes for now im niggin it with a pc680 behind the pass seat, with a home made tie down around it, sorta of makes me feel sad

lol... are you using brackets to hold down the battery?

just go to sears if you have one close by and they sell battery boxes for like 10 bucks..

lol.. my setup is ghetto as well though.. i did the box and everything right, but i used a 1 gauge wire... lmao, its huge, i doubt i have any voltage loss in that wire..
