ok, so this is my third post about the same problem..i've gotten back some good information, but i found a new problem that might be causing whats wrong with my car. everyone has told me TO bearing is bad and pilot bushing, and flywheel..but now that i got the transmission dropped out to check those things, the first thing i see when i drop it..a bent in tooth on the pressure plate ..it has a new Exedy stage 2 racing clutch package. thats what the guy i bought it from said. so i looked at it. everything looks in real good condition..except that one tooth. first. what kind of problems would that cause? and will it damage any other clutch components? i have found a new pressure plate from exedy.com and drivewire.com for a decent price. im ready to drive my car that ive had since october without it making all sorts of noises, and messing up on me!

What is the problem? Why did you drop the trans to look at it in the first place? What do you mean by tooth? One of fingers or part of the spring where the TOB pushes against? If that's bent I would just try pulling it back and bending it back in shape
