So my SR20DET transmission grinds while in reverse, its a constant grind and I'm thinking it might be the throw out bearing. Anyone else have this problem?

Moving to SR. And I think you have your bearings confused, because the TO bearing would grind only when you push the clutch in.

I think it's your countershaft bearing

also it could just be that sometimes (espeacially hondas) it seams like the reverse gear grinds probly not the answer to your problem but it might help in the future

everybody I know that has aftermarket shifter in thier SR or KA have problem going into reverse or grind sometimes. sometimes double clutching the pedal makes its easier to get in. I have the megan shifter and all I did was replace the shifter bushing and change my fluid to Diamond queen gl3 70w-75. No more reverse problem except just very cold morning where I have to double clutch.

U should also replace the shifter lever bushing. Its only $2 at nissan.

Yea I have had that problem in my Integra where you have to come to a complete stop to put in it reverse or it'll grind a lil bit, but my grind is constant until I take it out of gear again. It is a B&M short throw but I don't think that is the problem.
