I recentlly read on Heavy Throttle, that you have to remove the SR Shifter... Why is that? Am I supposed to replace with the KA shifter?Thanx,

i think they are refering to get the transmission up into the car...i imagine it makes it easier to get it up and in....i know i didnt remove mine...the SR and the KA shifter is interchangable anyway, so no reason one would have to come out, besides making it easier to get it in...

so the answer is no, you dont have to use the KA one instead...
