Well to start off im new to this forum and sr20's So hello. Here we go, just recently got my sr swap performed and i instantly had a problem with the tps, i had to drive the car some 1000 miles without it workin right.... Soo the shop who did the swap ( not naming names yet) sent me a new tps. But once it got here i took of the old one and notice they are very different. The one on the car now is all black and has a little part that moves, the other one where the part moves is open and i can see inside it( this is the one they sent me), This one is also wider at the point where the screws go through it, soo the screws dont work for this one???? i sent them photo's but havnt gotten a reply, I just need to know which one is right. I want my car to run right seeing as ive never driven her how she is spose to be.. I appreciate all the help, and have plenty more questions ...

sr20det tps original and new one are different, do they fit?

I didnt know since the new one didnt bolt right up if i should try to find bolts to make it work, and just seemed kinda weird since it wasnt the same as the other one.. Thanks alot for your response and checking out my problem i appreciate it.

also i checked the voltage just now and it was fine, except when i plug the sensor back in ... the yellow and red wire has the same reading , but the one in the middle has none???? But once unplugged has reading of .4 im real confussed is this normal??

thanks for your help, but i have horrible news. bad conditions today heading home from work. rear end came loose and went into a guard rail!!!!!!!! front mount cracked... Hood, fender headlight... Alll shot SOOO idk where im at i guess back to nothing.... Thanks again for the tps info, guess ill need it a little later when shes back running
