Need to time my engine and it is currently in the car. Im wondering how i can go about timing it without pulling the engine like I have been told I'm gonna. Timing isn't off by much i think the crank is off by a tooth but am not sure. Is there a way to get the front timing cover off without pulling engine or needing a cherry picker? and yes i used the search option but couldn't find what i wanted.

Two ways to get it off the "right way" Drop the front subframe or pull the engine. Much easier IMO to pull the engine out if you are needing to change the front timing cover. Follow this thread by Pyro. Make sure there are 9 links in between (not counting the dots on the intake and exhaust cam See Picture for reference.)
