I'm sorta new to cars so bare with me, sorry if its simple stuff... I've tried to research I just can't find much on this particular problem, I'm going to keep looking because maybe ive missed it but thought I'd just see if anyone here could help

So I was going to set my timing today on my redtop sr20det, need it to be at 20 degrees btdc for my ecu tune. My car sorta "skips" sometimes at idle I guess thats what I'd call it, thought it might be because of the timing being a little off. So before doing anything I just hooked up the light to see what it would read. I did not unplug the tps i just left everything alone, I was told that it can be done either way. So my car was warmed up, no reving or anything just sat for a complete mins and was idling at about 950-1000 rpm. which is slighty high i believe. So here's a video of what it was doing at 950 rpms...

Kinda hard to hear but when it goes back and forth from 20 to 15 you can hear the "skipping" ..What could be causing this? ...but after that I barely revved it up and then my car stayed idling at 1200rpms. I cleaned the IACV yesterday with compressed air the screw is completely closed. stayed at 1200 yesterday also and used to stay at 1200 before cleaning but the screw was not all the way down. Maybe a vacuum leak? Anyways here it is at 1200... its where I want it to be but its idling too high.

So I'm trying to figure out whats going on here and how to fix it?

But that could be the least of my worries... I now have a leak which i think is coming from the gasket above the oil pan. Dont know what it is called and dont know what is leaking. I literally just changed my oil like less than 50 miles ago and this stuff is dark, seems very thin almost like water, doesnt smell like straight oil and dont smell coolant in it either, I honestly can barely smell it, really no idea... just hope my headgasket isnt leaking but I have no other signs of that. I'm almost thinking I might have a leaky injector so its gas/oil mixture. I do notice a gas smell from my car when my car is on but I just thought it was just because I've got straight pipes

Thats the gasket where I think its coming from and dripping down. What is this gasket? Is it hard to replace? And below is just how much came out after about 10 mins of idling.

Sorry for all the questions, I try to figure everything out with out asking first but really just didn't know what to do this time and the timing is just confusing me. Any help is appreciated, thanks

In regards to the leak looks like the upper oil pan. Its actually just rtv, no gasket. Not hard to take car of. Just make sure you clean both surfaces well and properly torque. Haven't watched your vids yet for the other issue..

Also i recommend downloading the FSM. Mines saved to my desktop, very helpful.

Thanks I actually found out more about the leak and replacing that upper pan sounds like a pain actually. But I'm having tons of issues right now. I have an oil leak coming from somewhere else it seems, idk what that brown stuff is but it isnt oil, maybe dirt ps fluid, and my last gasket on my exhaust is leaking out some condensation crap... dunno why. And today my i unplugged the tps and the car was idling at about 1800rpm! would not go lower. Bout 1200 still with it plugged it. and timing light died
