i gotta admit i'm a rookie (i can't call myself a newbie, hah) anyways i got a 1991 180sx and i have no idea where the thermostat is so i can put my "nismo" one in there. Thanks for your time!

Pretty easy to get to one (if you've ever worked on any FWD ford, you'd agree with me)

If you look at the front of the motor, you'll see the lower radiator hose. That hose goes to a water neck held in with 3 bolts. It's up and to the left of the water pump. Thats the housing for the thermostat

Also, welcome to NICO! Is it a real 180sx you have, or just a 240sx?
