I bought a sr20det black top with the 220hp on it for my 91 s13. Im going to change head gasket head bolts and maybe get the block all clean out change seals and all the good stuff but stay with the oem bottom end. On the head migth go with 2 stage cams and maybe get it port and polish and the rest stay with oem. But the turbo dont know if I should go with the stock or can I go with a different turbo for more hp and much can I go on psi with that set up ??????????????????? So anyone out there let me know thanks alot......

T25 gets maxed out around 250hp.T28 might get you to 330hp.

Stock bottom end should be able to handle up to about 500hp but at that point it becomes iffy (this is really dependant on your tuning).

The PSI you set your new turbo out depends on your tuning and fuel, and of course the size of your turbo. Something like a GT2871R is pretty much a drop-in affair, and with the supporting cams and fuel can handle 18psi and make close to 400hp.
