Hey I'll be sporting that fine engine shortly just not as of yet. I know you can get a nice Spearco core for about $300 and just weld you on some end tanks for fairly cheap which is prolly what I'll do for a fairly nice FMIC.

You are the only turbo G20 (that's what you drive, right?) that I know of on here.

I'll be sportin' a turbo in a few months on my spec V though :) Although it won't be a SR. Maybe I'll have to make a new forum for QR25DET's :) :evilhaha

What exactly are you talking about? I feel I want to be a part of this conversation, but I don't follow your post.

Cool thanks for the clarification.

I would think more than one person has a DET in the Stanza. Afterall, the Stanza does use the KA24E (right?) stock, which has roughly the same mounting points as the BB SR20DET, since the KA motor is in the Altima and SR is in the BB, which is the same car. If that makes any sense.

OK to answer all questions. As far as the Stanza goes, I haven't got the motor in it yet which is why my sig says coming soon but I am guessing you guys saw that hehe (I need some $ cause I burnt it up on buying a house).

As far as other Stanzas with DET motors, I should be the only one with the DET stateside that I know of cause I am a big member of the Stanza community also and I have not heard of any unless they are in hiding. Now there was one pushing 280hp though on a built up motor and that was interesting. his name was Marc Rozzo and to my uinderstanding he has a B13 Sentra now with a DET dropped that runs 12s.

Yes the Bluebird was the same U12 chassis and it also had a SR20DET in Japan. The Aussie versions had the CA18DET if it had a turboed motor but they also came with the lovely KA24E over there also to my understanding. There are a few Bluebird owners from Australia over on one of the Stanza boards (http://www.TeamNSE.com).

As for my core, I have to figure out the measurements I want cause I understand that Spearco can custom make any size I want for the core for like $350 or something like that and then I just weld on some endtanks. I ned it big enough to fill up the air dam on my kit though cause it will look kind of dopey if it doesn't fill up the hole. Where do you know of the core for $300?

You could always do a nice stock Starion intercoler but that will run you around $150 - $200 or so but I just assume pay out a little extra for a nicer piece myself

n/m I just realized that you are looking for one to fit behind teh foglight hole.
