I currently have my s13 setup that goes like this :

-Bullseye t04b v trim..."0.60" "eff range. 15 - 30 psi"-550cc 's-tomei 1.8 metal HG-FMIC-3" all the way-afc2-ngk v-power heat range 8

I have been runnin 1 bar no problems what so ever, and then last night i got the apexi avc-r connected and tried boostin up, the car refuses to go over 1 bar...I went like 1.3-1.4 bar but the car starts to hesitate and refuse to go over 1 bar although there is no knock at all..

I had the lm1 wideband connected and its set at about 11.5 a/f ratio all the way to keep it on the safe side ...

I'm also running NGK V-POWER heat range 8 to stay safe...

I'm running it on pump gas which is 91-93..Could that be the cause of my problem and the reason stopping the car of boosting over 1 bar ?

Are my 550cc's getting max'd at 1 bar...and need to go 720 or above ?

Just wanna make sure before I got buying some vp 103 or above ...

thanx

can't really say if you need bigger injectors or not w/o flow rates or any of that, what type of power are you making? I've got a t3/t04b Vtrim and i have 720's to be safe... i'd say your injectors are limiting you though from the sounds of it... if it will spike to 1.3 bar then once the RPMs get higher when the engine needs more fuel it can't provide it so it leans out... but since you said the AFR is at 11.5 all the time i dunno...

If set the car to high boost, at what RPM does it start to hesitate at? What kind of MAF are you using? As for the injectors, if you have the AVC-R installed, you should be able to read your injector duty cycle to see if they are maxed out or not.

Whats the wastegate set at? Are the vaccuum lines hooked up right? I ran a t04b on my sr and ran 1.2 bar on mine fine. I had issues with my old avc-r, if you dont get that solenoid load % right it tends to be finiky.

It starts to hesitate at around 4,500 where full boost is at !

I got the Z32 maf obviously...

Well..the avc-r reads almost 90-95% INJ duty cycle, But I think that' ain't accurate as the LM1 shows the car still running RICH when the car starts to hesitate ... !

The external wastegate is set at 1 bar "LOW" ..the sol load is set at around 70-80% to boost that high !

I'm running TORCO race 116 fuel now to test the car ..

I have a new problem now, INTERCOOLER pipes coming off :s

sounds like you are getting missfire from the higher cyl pressures. try gapping those plugs shorter, like .028". with the afr being good, i don't think it could be a boost leak.

so lower it to .028" and recheck your timing.

I would check for boost leaks. Especially if you are popping pipes off.
