SR20DET swap... Which heater core hose goes where?

I'm almost done with my SR20DET swap into my S13 240SX. The last thing I really need to know is this... Which heater core hose goes where? Does it even matter or is the heater core flow directional and has to be hooked up a certain way?

the hose that runs below the intake goes to the lower nipple of the core. the hose that runs between the firewall and the engine goes to the top.
