Question for you guys with Isis or Megan exhaust/turbo manifolds: how does it feel versus stock? Have any real gains been documented?

I'm considering going SR and after reading Codyace's stock internal 400hp GT2871r threads with the Extrudehoned OEM manifold, I just wonder why so many ppl go with the Isis/Megan style manifolds...

There cheap, and they add a bling (shiny is better after all) effect to the engine bay.

I took it out last night and opened it up for the first time and man it is even faster than I expected. How much horsepower do you think I should be producing with this setup. I am going to take it to have it put on dyno soon.

Really? That's disappointing. Found some really olda$$ threads on the subject. Seems like Extrudehone is the way to go for increased response & torque but the aftermarket tubular manifolds make better top end. I can't really find dyno numbers for either though...

Really, the main thing going through the vast majority of peoples minds when they buy those manifolds, is that it is cheap(because the vast majority of 240 owners are broke a** cheapeskates), and it will look better than a rusty stocker with the dull ugly heat shields.

need help sr was running good for a while now is running rich found a few leaks in intercooler piping fixed that but still running rich does anyone know of shop familiar with sr20 motors around cleveland tn. I can disconnect maf and no change
I am still running bov discharge to atmosphere but not sure if that is problem. If you disconnect maf should see a change in motor rpm or die no change. any advise out there. running 20 lbs vac on idle at about 900 rpm don't think I have vac leak changed plugs which were black with carbon do not look wet. no water in oil so do not think head gasket. not using oil think problem is just fuel mixture.
