sr20det swap transmission question

sr20det swap transmission question
when you install the engine and all that is the gear 1 in the top right hand side since the car was a right hand drive car? or does th ecu fix that somehow for it to be back in the normal top left hand side?

1st gear is up and left just like US cars. The ecu doesn't have ne thing to do with where the gears are.

that is funny , specially if you are setting on the right hand seat. the gearing on all cars are about the same only diff, some german cars( maybe all) the R is left and up, while japanese cars are right and down. welcome to nico by the way
