inspect the motor for other problems. I've been hearing about more motors that are coming over this way with more internal problems than they did back in the day.

The SR20DET is the stock engine in thousands and thousands of cars overseas.

There is no reason for it to be any less reliable than your KA24. Hell, the SR20 will have less miles than most any KA24 anyhow.

If you want to retain the powersteering you will need PS lines from a 91+ and reservoir from a 91+ w/o hicas.

Also you will need a new gauge cluster from a DOHC (91+) 240 for your tachometer to work. You can swap the entire cluster, or if you want to keep your cluster you can just swap the actual tachometers.

Also you better check with whoever you are getting that motorset from?

Your list includes that it comes with a distributor. SR's are distributorless.

yes, you will need a (bov)blow off valve if you're using an aftermarket intercooler with its piping. while it's true that a bov is not needed to run a turbo car, but it will save your turbo life big time.

a boost controller is not needed for the car to run properly. but a boost gauge is however recommended.

you will need a downpipe if your motorset doesn't include this.

it looks like the motorset doesn't include the power steering pump, this will be a major problem if you're use to the "power steering life". so get one that's not a hicas.

using powersteering lines and resevior from a 91+ is not neccessary unless you're going for a more clean look. ghetto rig it like us cheapskate people

last but not least is the ac unit. you might want to do a search on this one. while some say you can make a custom bracket to fit the stock 89-90 ac in the sr20, after doing a few fitment test, i came to the conclusion that it will not fit in the engine bay without hammering in or cutting a off some sheet metal on the driver's front near the fender well for clearance. so i decide to leave it hanging there and not use the ac.

i know this to much to list, but i hope it helps you, so you won't encounter into problems like i did while putting my motor into a 89 s13 after doing research and getting some false info.
