I am looking at buying a sr red top from heavythrottle.com. I am wondering, if the package, for $2,500 includes everything to put the engine together in the S13 CHasis, I will get a 91-92 240, and have the engine run safely as a daily driver. Is there anything more to it than just that kit, for getting it to work. My first goal is to get the engine in and running, then ill look at modifications. tHanks.

You are still going to need a downpipe. I also highly recommend a new fuel pump and a new exhaust would be wise as well to prevent boost spikes and damage to your motor. A new clutch while you are at it would be a wise move as well.

Search, and do it quickly. SR20's are a really popular swap right now, and getting snatched up at a fast and furious rate. Also, look really deeply into Heavy Throttle's site. They lay it out what you need, and what they recommend.

yea, i am most likely gonna order the engine from heavythrottle. Thanks for the suggestions guys, but my first goal will be to get the engine running in the car and everything. I will invest a lil into the engine, but i want to use it as a daily driver so i dont wanna get too crazy just yet. I will look into the clutch and fuel pump after the car is running, and I will look into the downpipe and exhaust, but i want to try and pass emissions, cause i have heard from a few ppl around here it is possible, so I am thinking bout just swapping back on the stock muffler n **** 4 the test. anyways, thanks guys.

OMG!

I nevar knew that my 85mm exhaust was actually protecting my engine from boost spikes! Yippy! If I hook up my wastegate to my intake and my BOV to my fuel rail, will that help prevent crankwalk?

Just razz'n you man.99% of boost spike will be caused by a faulty boost controller.0.9% (APR, j/k :D) will be caused by a faulty wastegate actuator or springAnd 0.1% will be caused by misc. other crap.

Fact of the Day:64% of percentages are made up on the spot ;)

Hey bud I thought that it was 73.9% of all percentages that are made up on the spot. Dude, you really got to get your numbers right :D
