Quick question,

I was thinking today and i came up if it's possible to do a SR20DET on our QR engines.
there are several transverse SR20s like bluebird sylphy, avenir, n GTir motors i think.
im pretty sure bluebird is the one with red top engine were FWD.
I know that our QR engines are sideway (?) but i was thinking it should be able to bolt on to QR transmission somehow. :gotme
dont tell me money will cuz yea anything is possible w money lol just asking how hard is it to do a bolt on swap. :dblthumb:

just think about it...SR20VET in AC :ohno: :ohno:

From wiki
SR20VET
The 2.0 L (1998 cc) SR20VET was the first turbocharged engine from Nissan with variable timing and lift control. It produces 280 PS (206 kW) @ 6400 rpm and 309 nm @ 3200 rpm.
It is used in the following vehicles:
Nissan X-Trail GT

Trans is different. It won't bolt up. You'd need everything, like whole front clip including gauge cluster, sensors, wiring harness, ecu, etc. I'm sure it could be done with a lot of custom fab, but honestly, not worth it. You'd be better off swapping in the VQ to get you the same power gains with more reliability.
