The BB engine (or one from an Avenir) is definitely easier and cheaper. It's pretty much plug and play, though you'll still need a tuned ECU or at least a piggyback to be legal. You could also turbo your SR20DE if you feel so inclined.

For more specifics on how to do it, try searching. The short version is that you need engine, ECU, exhaust, and a high-flow fuel pump.

Then you're most of the way there.

You don't need the wiring, your stock harness will do the trick. I believe you'll have to do some splicing if you go the GTi-R route, I again don't remember off the top of my head, so a search will help you out.

Myself? No, but I've seen this kind of question enough times to remember some of the info and know where to look for the rest.

Example: The GTi-R swap requires a bit more wiring than others. I found this in another thread:
Chris859 wrote:You just need to swap out the injector plugs (splice the ones from the gtir harness on to your se-r harness), and I believe the tps is backwards (so swap the outer 2 wires on the tps plug). Use your distributor from the se-r. Use the se-r trans (which you have to on almost all of the det's anyways). Use the se-r passenger side mount/bracket. Then get a jwt tuned ecu for the gtir 444cc injectors, turbo, and whatever maf you want (z32 n62, or maxima n60 are preferable, z32 being the bigger of the two).
On top of that you'll need the aforementioned fuel pump, a 3in turbo-back exhaust, and a stronger clutch to handle the power.
