sr20det starting issue .... interlock relay? help!

hey guys, my car is a 1989 s13 hatchback with a redtop sr20detwhen i go to start the car- all electronics and lights works- fuel pump primes- battery is fully charged- just replaced starter

but no crank or turn over

however i do hear a click coming from the interlock relay (blue block thing near passenger headlight and battery) my thoughts are that it is bad

any thoughts? advice

try shorting a direct + 12volt source (battery) to the signal wire on the starterits the small wire with a spade connectorif you do this make sure its out of gear, e-brake on, and the key is in the run position im in the process of adding a push button start that will bypass the oem key + cylinder wiring, which is junk apparently
