I'm currently in the middle of my swap and we cant get the starter to work. How many plugs go into the starter? I need to know if I hooked it up right. Thanks

two.the ring lug on the heavier gauge wire that goes onto the stud,and then a nut,and the little one prong connector that slips onto the tab.ps..dont get the starter and alternator wires mixed up,they look similar.(i mean the fatter wires)
