Sr20det starter. help!

my starter went out in my sr'd s13. i know that some of the nissan sentra's have the NA sr20 engine so i was wondering if i could yank one out of those to replace my starter with. the mechanic at Meineke said it would cost $999.00 for a brand new starter...

does anyone know if i can pull the starter out a sentra to use. OR where can i find starters online? because $1,000. for a new starter is bs.thanks
