my sr20det stalls at 3500rpm when i am cruising. im just barely stepping on the gas pedal, but if i floor it, i picks up strong and doesn't stall. only does it when im cruising. i have a stock sr, with the stock ka exhaust, 3" down pipe, my MAFs been extended from thick electrical wires, and im using the 300zx ignitor chip. any help here please.

That was happening to me recently, and what fixed it for me was at the back of the motor. Where the ignition wires go to the coil packs, they were grounding out to the engine...and it only did it when i was at that akward inbetween boost and vaccum stage.

Edit: The reason i found it was there was a really loud clicking coming from the back of the motor...listen for it.

so how do i fix this problem if its just that? do i just ground it, disconnect it?
