SR20det sputtering at idle

I have a bone stock SR20det redtop in a bone stock '96 S14. The only mods are intake, tublar exhaust manifold, full 3" exhaust and a T28 turbo. The guy I bought it from said it had a Jim Wolfe tuned chip but I am not completley sure of that.

When it is running and warmed up it will idle around 1000rpms and every few seconds it will make a kinda bump or stutter noise. I feel like it wants to stall but it never does??? When I am driving however it runs great, never skips a beat. As soon as I slow down like to a red light or something that same ole crappy idle happnes again. What is my problem? The car also runs a little rich but I dont know if that has any thing to do with it.

well if its running rich u might wana check ur O2 sensors and probably your MAF sensor. make sure those are fine. for your idel problem. try checking the TPS sensor. or u can check your IACV solinoide make sure its not all carbond up. and is the idel getting really low? or a consistant 1k. and your timing might be off. just a couple sugestions that i would assume. / vacume leak

im sputtering alot too but its not all the time its whenever the motor feels like it i was told to change the injectors havent gotten a chance to do it yet.........idk if the same problem as you
