sr20det speed governor removal

Anyone know how to do it? I know on KA you can clip 2 wires and that works.. this is s13 sr20 black top.. thanks

whats teh governor set at on the blacktop?

ive enver hit a governor on mine and i havent disabled anything either

120 .. ive got a 180kmh speedo calibrated for mph.. I had the speed governor hack done to my old KA and the fastest ive hit with that was 140..

i guess the shop that did mine got rid of it?

i know for a fact ive done at least 125

if you do enough research you will find that someone will have cut a green wire with yellow stripe or yellow wire with green stripe (I forget), but if you do that (and your might be different) your car wont run right (or at least mine didn't).

That wire does remove the ECU reading for 5th gear rev limit so you can go up to 145mph (I had a buddy in a 2002 Corvette run next to me with a radio and I told him the second it kicked in, he had his speedo calibrated recently) then you will hit another limiter.

But I think its connected to something else that is important because it will definately change they way the car runs for the worse.

Second plug down from the fuse box. Should be a brown/white wire...that should be for the 5th gear sensor.
