As the subject line states. I may just be a worry wart because its my daily and my other daily through a rod.

But has anyone come across hearing a light light tapping in the head, or am I just going crazy.

The car doesn't see high RPM often at ALL. I'm also having an issue with my wastegate, i believe. It makes this chiming noise on deceleration, as if it is loose. But that isn't something I'm worried about at the moment.

Also. While I have it on my mind, my TPS also makes a slight tick if I'm under the hood and slightly push the butterfly open. I mean, not even an extra 250-350 RPM i hear it. Anything more it won't do it.

God. Sorry. Its late and I'm flipping my s***. Hell, my head has the tick because its due for a oil change.

Also, does the baffle have to be trimmed for rocker arm stoppers in the S14 head? I need to look into them, bad.

I am also noticing some hot temperatures in the trans tunnel. Like ALMOST hot to the touch on the plastic on the inside. Any ideas? Or is that how the transmissions run?

Thanks in advance guys,
Corey aka CRyan

S14 requires trimming of the valve cover... Also, the baffle plate isn't required. Most people remove it..
