I have a redtop that needs a rebuild and found a good deal on a nice s14 short block...would there be any issues with using my s13 head on this because i want to keep my intake manifold and all the wiring and such the same...thanks.

Its way to much of a hassel, you have to drill into the head.

s14 blacktop is different it has an extra oil passage for the vtc. so you might have to plug it up some how.

Wrong.

S13 S14 SR blocks are exactly the same minus a few differnces

You can bolt an S13 head onto and S14 Block without a problemI belive you should use the S13 H/G and that should take care of the VTC oil passage for the S14 Head.

If the only difference is an oil passage than you are right, the s13 HG should take care of it
