1990 240SX running Z32 fuel pump, Apexi SAFC-2, 550cc injectors, GT2871r and 17lbs of boost. For the last few months I have been running rich. Upon initial startup, below ambient air temperatures of 75 degrees F, the car will idle, drop revs and either stall or sputter and catch itself. It also can happen when coming down from highway speeds with the transmission in neutral. Once the car is warmed up, the problem does not resurface. In addition the cars interior and exhaust has a higher than normal fuel smell.

Does anyone know the exact problem and how I can test for it?

might be a boost leak in IC pipes.washing your IACV AAC with brake or carb cleaner might solve stalling issue.check your spark plugs - are they ok? when did you change them?

what ecu/chip are you running? z32 afm and 550cc screws everything if your ecu was not updated to new afm and injector values.stalling and erratic idle might be because of massive overfueling, spark plugs get covered in fuel and does can't get a decent spark.

could be faulty FPR though (holds high fuel pressure).
