I have a sr20det in my 240sx. It was runnning around 190 and then when it started getting hot outside, it ran up to 215-220 and if it sits it'll go to 250. I was wondering if this is normal or in the temperature range it should be running? And if it isn't, what type of things should I be looking for to get the temperature back down?

What kind of radiator do you have? My stock ka radiator is not enough for summer temps, so I parked mine for now.

I think 250 and your screwed. My runs at 190-205 in Florida. Are your fans running at all? Are you using the stock crap fan?I use that metal air panel you can get for cheap.Water wetter (red line)Bleed system really really well! And a koyo you should be good. If not you probably have other problems.

Your head gasket might be dead? You should try a cooling system pressure test.
