Srry to make a new post but eaiser to do it this way.

Well here it is cars running rich.We wanted to see how bad so we decided to put in a new set of plugs drive 5 miles and test.Well the results were not so good.Plugs look like they are 4 mths old .Bad 4 only 5 mile ride.We are trying to solve this and this is what we tried so far.

1.ECT WAS REPLACED.and wires were tracked with no breaks in.2.Mafs was changed.(90 ka24e)3.Fuel pressure tested(46 without vacume and 38 with.)4.Timing was checked with light .(Ran smoother on top dead but was hard to tell with the idel being jumpy.) was done according to fsm.with plug wire5.Checked o2 sensor.was all good.6 Ran codes on ecu .Got 12 so we replaced and never had another(jus 55)7.Injectors firing.8 checked coils by pulling them leaving plug in and starting car one by one fire at the plus was strong.

Thats what we have done so far and nothing helped(except new plugs but they fouled so quick was long.)

the next step is pull injector rail and check o rings and Find a ecu some one will let u place in car so i can rule that in or out .So please help need this car running

Motor is stock 100% including smic.#62 ecu S13 balcktop3"elbow 3"downpipe,3"test pipe"3 inch cat back system.Koyo alum rad.Eletric fan

Is your ecu plug completely in. I had to zip tie the outsides of mine because they were bowed out. Acted like your car did until I zip tied it.

none of the pins in the ecu are bent or broken right? That could cause probs like that.

Hey, I hope you don't have these stupid quick clamp-its through out your wiring. You should go thru your harness completely and "hook solder" the wires. I don't care what ppl say nothing beats a great connection w/solder no tap in or clamp-it will give you a good signal. Trust me! I am a aviation electrician on Helicopters. You send me your harness I will go through it for you. I am willing to put money it's a wiring issue "IF" the rest of your harness looks like this. It sounds like your troubleshooting to many area's at once btw. Start simple. Here's one for you don't get overwhelmed by looking at your ride in frustration. Go away and drink a beer(or 4) and then come back after awhile and try again by looking for out of the ordinary. I hope this helps...sorry if it don't. JMO

hey man thanks for the post <And no that was what the orginal owner used for his tack.He soddered the rest but not that one (funny)We have been working on this for about 2 weeks or more(since i got car)

But we have found the prob. Finally go the intercooler tested. But before we tested we wanted to clean the inside a lil had some blow by from when guy blew first motor)Used gas poured into inter cooler and to suprise the gas came out from bottom jus a quick as in so there it was the hole time .BAD INTERCOOLER.So thx to all.

Havent found another to conferm it but belive its the prob.WIL update as soon as i get a stock smic or frontmount .Duno dont really care now jus need wheels agin.
