sr20det rods into kade?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

so im doing a ka24de build up and i have a sr20det long block sitting in my garage. i was wondering if anyone has tried to put sr rods into a kade block? maybe save myself a buck, any input would be appreciated thx.

Why? They are both forged.

The KA rods have been proven to hold at least 350hp to the wheels.

i think that would be good enough for me my car only weighs 2100 lbs

Piston rings/ring lands should go before anything else.

my 510 was about 2300 until i took out carpet and sound deadning and removed the dash for a custom sheet metal one so im thinking once i replace the windows with lexan i will be under 2000
