Ok guys, I've been recommended by a good friend and fellow tuner of mine that I should go out buy myself a sr20det; rather than building the current sr20de with the turbo kit installed inside of my s14 zenki.. What do you guys think? And if you agree, which do you think I should get? The s13 redtop or try & find a s14 silver/blacktop instead?

If you end up sourcing out a DET, you would be better off landing an S14 SR i think

S13 SR's can be a nice starting point (price-wise, they are a little cheaper than S14 SR's). All the S14 SR's i've ran across are always in excellent shape, plus they make a little more power from the factory. It really all depends on who's had them and what sort of care they've given them. :) Happy swap searching!!

Aside from a wire harness what else would I need if swapping a s13 sr into a s14 chassis? Would I need transmission aswell?
